At Bambuser, we’re transforming how the world shops online by bringing video commerce to life for some of the world’s most loved brands.

We’re now looking for a Security Manager to take ownership of our platform and information security as we continue to grow. You’ll build on a solid foundation, guiding how we protect our systems, support customer needs, and approach new technologies like AI in a secure and responsible way.

The scope is broad, and the impact is real. Your work will help us scale securely, stay compliant, and ensure trust remains central to how we operate.

What You’ll Do

• Own platform and infrastructure security, making sure we stay ahead of risks while continuing to meet standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR
• Act as the security voice in customer conversations, leading responses to RFPs, due diligence, and helping build trust in sales cycles.
• Guide our work across complex global privacy and compliance requirements
• Define and support a responsible approach to AI, partnering with teams across the business to identify safe and valuable use cases, build practical policies, and foster awareness.
• Identify gaps and build a clear plan for evolving our security landscape over time.
• Make it scalable! Help transition key security work from person-dependent to process-driven, so we’re set up for growth and continuity over time.

Who you are

We believe you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT security and compliance.
• A strong understanding of frameworks like NIST, COBIT, or CIS controls, and the good judgment to know when and how to apply them.
• Familiarity with GDPR and a pragmatic approach to global privacy and compliance requirements.
• Experience with security tech, systems integration, and managing hardware lifecycles
• Exposure to AI technologies in a business setting, and an understanding of the risks, governance needs, and ethical conversations around them.
• Strong communication skills, you’re comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external customers, especially in high-stakes conversations
• A problem solver mindset. You’re proactive, and solutions oriented.
• Spot patterns, identify risks, and think ahead
• Experience working in or with publicly listed companies is a plus
