What You’ll Do

• Build & Scale: Design, implement, and maintain our data platform on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow, Pub/Sub), ensuring pipelines are reliable, efficient, and secure.
• ELT Excellence: Create robust ELT workflows using Dataform/dbt, SQL, and Python to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets.
• Architectural Leadership: Lead discussions on data architecture, deployment automation, and CI/CD practices to streamline our data workflows and ensure maintainability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with analysts, developers, and product teams to capture requirements, shape data-driven features, and deliver actionable insights.
• Observability & Quality: Implement monitoring, logging, and governance processes to ensure data reliability, accuracy, and documentation.

Who you are

We believe you have:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with GCP data technology: BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow, Pub/Sub, or equivalent.
  
• A proven track record building and scaling data pipelines at production scale.
• Experience with ELT/ETL frameworks such as Dataform or dbt_.
• Solid software engineering practices: version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills; adept at working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

We'd consider it a bonus if you have experience with:

Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, streaming data architectures, client-side logging, or observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Curiosity, clear communication, and a thoughtful approach to problem-solving go a long way in this role. We value people who ask good questions and enjoy learning as part of a team.
