About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Vice President of Sales to spearhead our global revenue generation efforts. The SVP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with our business objectives, with a strong emphasis on maximizing ARR and NRR. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving sustainable revenue growth within the video commerce and live shopping landscape. This role can be based in NYC, but will require frequent travel to EMEA and our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focused on acquiring new enterprise clients and expanding revenue from existing clients to maximize ARR and NRR.
Lead and mentor a high-performing global sales team specializing in video commerce solutions, instilling best practices for sales cadence, customer mapping, and CRM utilization.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities within live shopping and social commerce, adapting sales cycles and strategies to different customer segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, fostering loyalty and driving repeat business through effective stakeholder mapping and engagement.
Oversee all sales activities, including lead generation, pipeline management, deal negotiation, and closing, with a focus on driving platform adoption and maximizing client value.
Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with product development and marketing to ensure alignment between go-to-market strategies and revenue goals.
Establish and maintain a data-driven sales culture, leveraging CRM data to track progress, identify trends, and optimize sales performance.
Monitor key revenue metrics, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLTV), and churn rate, to optimize for ARR growth and NRR expansion.
Represent Bambuser at industry events and conferences, positioning the company as a thought leader in video commerce.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the SaaS, e-commerce, or video technology industries.
Proven track record of driving ARR growth and exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
Deep understanding of sales best practices, with specific knowledge of strategies relevant to video commerce and live shopping.
Demonstrated expertise in leading and implementing effective sales cadences within complex enterprise sales cycles.
Strong understanding of customer mapping techniques and experience navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes within large organizations.
Proven ability to adapt sales strategies and cycles based on customer segment, deal size, and industry vertical.
Experience establishing and managing a data-driven sales culture with a strong emphasis on CRM best practices and data analysis.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate global teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate Bambuser's value proposition.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, capable of analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
Proven track record of building and scaling Go-To-Market strategies in the US and international markets, with a focus on EMEA.
Demonstrated ability to adapt GTM strategies to different cultural contexts and regulatory environments.
Experience with international market entry and expansion, including localization of messaging and sales processes.
Strong understanding of the competitive landscape in both the US and EMEA video commerce markets.
Experience managing remote and distributed teams.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in another European language is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel frequently to EMEA, APAC and our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
