We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Coordinator who enjoys systems, processes, and automating processes. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processing, coordinate with outsourced payroll providers, and perform a variety of HR administrative tasks to ensure accurate and efficient operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.What you'll do
- Serve as the main point of contact between the company and outsourced payroll providers
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll by coordinating with external payroll providers
- Review and verify payroll data, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and taxes
- Manage time reporting systems and ensure accurate data entry
- Oversee the integration of payroll systems with other HR and financial systems
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and outsourced providers
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits
- Perform HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, onboarding new hires, and managing benefits administration
- Support People functions with data management
- Collaborate with Finance and People teams to ensure smooth payroll and HR operations
- Stay updated on changes in payroll and HR laws and regulations
Who you are
- Proven experience in payroll administration and HR administration
- Familiarity with payroll software, HRIS platforms, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of payroll (and some HR) laws and regulations is a plus
- Experience with time reporting systems and system integrations is preferred
